The Bare-faced Go-away Bird is considered to form a super-species with Corythaixoides concolor. A typical specimen will measure approximately 48 cm from beak to tail, and weigh around 210-300g. Throughout its range, this species prefers open woodland and thornbush habitats from 500 to 2000m. It feeds on fruits, leaf buds and seeds. CITES: Not globally threatened, and considered locally common in parts of its range.
